Every apothecary has a beginning. This is mine.

I was born in Peru in 1987, where an early appreciation for plants, craftsmanship, and traditional knowledge first took root. That connection has remained with me throughout my life and continues to shape the way I create today.

After growing up in Miami, Florida, my curiosity led me to study Botany, Zoology, Veterinary Medicine, Art, and Photography. I have always been fascinated by the relationship between science and the natural world, and by understanding how thoughtful care can support everyday well-being.

In 2012, I began expanding my studies in traditional plant medicine, creating my first botanical balms, salves, tinctures, and herbal preparations by hand. After relocating to Colorado in 2014, I continued exploring botanical formulations while studying cannabinoids and developing topical preparations for both people and animals. These experiences deepened my appreciation for both scientific understanding and generations of botanical knowledge.

Motherhood transformed my perspective in ways I never expected. My children and my animals continue to inspire every formulation I create, reminding me that the products we welcome into our homes should be made with care, quality, and purpose.

Magical Anomaly brings together the experiences that have shaped my life—a respect for nature, a background in science, a love of craftsmanship, and a lifelong curiosity about the remarkable relationship between people and plants.
