✦ The Founder ✦

I was born in Peru in 1987, into a lineage that respected plants not as trends—but as teachers.

I grew up between worlds. Raised in Miami, Florida, I was immersed in science early on, studying Botany, Zoology, Veterinary Medicine, Art and Photography.

From the beginning, I was drawn to understanding how living systems function, how they break down, and how care restores balance.

My relationship with plant medicine developed alongside my medical training. In 2012, I formally expanded my studies into traditional medicine, creating my first balms, salves, and tinctures by hand—guided by ancestral practices and informed by science. These early formulations were created for function and relief long before they were ever created for aesthetics.

After relocating to Colorado in 2014, I continued developing formulations rooted in alternative and integrative medicine, studying cannabinoids and creating topical blends for both humans and animals. This period deepened my understanding of inflammation, pain response, and the body’s natural repair processes.

In 2018, during my first pregnancy, I returned fully to traditional medicine. Motherhood refined my approach to healing—placing greater emphasis on safety, gentleness, and long-term support. Healing became less about intervention and more about intelligent, supportive care.

Magical Anomaly was officially established in 2020 as a way to bring this work forward with intention—allowing me to continue crafting botanical formulations using natural, responsibly sourced ingredients designed to support comfort, balance, and everyday well-being.

My clinical work continued to evolve. While I was first introduced to veterinary neurology in 2011, my primary focus in subsequent years was surgical and orthopedic care. Beginning in 2024, I returned to neurology with purpose, expanding my hands-on experience and deepening my understanding of nerve pain, trauma, recovery, and the nervous system’s role in healing.

My children and my animals remain the heart of Magical Anomaly.

Every product is formulated with the same care I bring to my patients and my family: respect for the skin barrier, the nervous system, and the body’s innate intelligence. I believe healing should feel grounding, and gentle. Ritual, not urgency.

Magical Anomaly exists where science meets tradition—
where modern medicine and ancestral wisdom coexist,
and where care is crafted with intention, guided by experience, and made to be part of daily life.

This is not trend-based skincare.
This is functional ritual.
This is medicine made gentle.
